Transferring Samples to Pasteur Lab

Condition of keeping and transferring fluid samples to Pasteur lab

  • Characteristics of the patients such as name, family, date, type of the sample should be mentioned
  • Fluid samples should be taken in a sterile tube and then transfer to the laboratory
  • Fluid samples should be kept in the room temperature
  • Diagnostic test should be done during the least time possible to prevent false answers
  • Samples of the biochemistry, or microbiology parts are taken in 2- 3 tubes
  • Coagulated samples are not suitable for tests, and another sample should be taken
  • Samples should be kept far from the heat and sunlight
