Transferring Samples to Pasteur Lab
Condition of keeping and transferring fluid samples to Pasteur lab
- Characteristics of the patients such as name, family, date, type of the sample should be mentioned
- Fluid samples should be taken in a sterile tube and then transfer to the laboratory
- Fluid samples should be kept in the room temperature
- Diagnostic test should be done during the least time possible to prevent false answers
- Samples of the biochemistry, or microbiology parts are taken in 2- 3 tubes
- Coagulated samples are not suitable for tests, and another sample should be taken
- Samples should be kept far from the heat and sunlight
