1. The sample should be prepared between 3 and 5 days after the last sexual contact or ejaculation, and the specimen collected earlier than 2 days or 7 days after the closest proximity is not suitable for the test.
2. The best example of a semen is a sample that is prepared by artificial stimulation (without the use of soap, gel, shampoo) with a slightly damp hands and collected in a special container provided by the lab. And no condom should be used to collect the sample.
3. The sample should be collected in a container provided by the laboratory.
4. Before pouring the specimen into the container, warm the container with it and bring it close to your body temperature.
5. Collect all samples taken during ejaculation into the container. Because if only part of the sample is placed in the lab, it will result in an unrealistic result.
6. To determine vasectomy adequately, spermogram should be performed at least 2 months after vasectomy and should not be proxied 1-2 days before the test, or semen is excreted for any reason.
7. Inform your laboratory about any medication taken during sperm monitoring.
8. Set the set date for sampling to not coincide with Thursday or Sunday.
